Hip Hop\R&B Princess, Monica has finally released her official video for new single “Anything (To Find You)” featuring Rick Ross. Reminiscent of something both old(90’s) and new, this video gives us a feel of that old school Monica that we’ve been missing from the “Miss Thang” era.
Personally, I love this version sans Lil Kim. Originally when the song leaked a few months ago it featured her rap vocals, but controversy soon ensued because the song samples the Notorious B.I.G.’s song “Who Shot Ya”.
If you are a Hip Hip fan, you now that Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace, has a had a longtime feud with Lil Kim, and as executer of his estate, she used her power to put a motion to not allow the sample to be released for commercial use if Lil Kim stayed on the song.
