I have been following a hilarious YouTube series for a while, featuring parodies of Patti LaBelle and her celebrity friends and enemies, like Beyoncé, Fantasia, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Maya Angelou just to name a few. The young lady behind the series is so funny and every new video she puts out is even better than the last.
This time around she parodied Patti’s god-daughter Mariah Carey with a spot on speaking voice and singing parody you literally won’t believe when you view it! Check out the video below, and be sure to subscribe to user LaBelleOfTheBall2 on YouTube [http://www.youtube.com/user/LaBelleOfTheBall2] and follow her alter-ego on Twitter @PattiLaHelle [http://twitter.com/#!/PattiLaHelle]. Be sure to check out the other parody video’s on her channel that will literally live you laughing out loud, crying, gasping for air & maybe even an asthma attack!

Hip Hop\R&B Princess, Monica has finally released her official video for new single “Anything (To Find You)” featuring Rick Ross. Reminiscent of something both old(90’s) and new, this video gives us a feel of that old school Monica that we’ve been missing from the “Miss Thang” era.
Personally, I love this version sans Lil Kim. Originally when the song leaked a few months ago it featured her rap vocals, but controversy soon ensued because the song samples the Notorious B.I.G.’s song “Who Shot Ya”.
If you are a Hip Hip fan, you now that Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace, has a had a longtime feud with Lil Kim, and as executer of his estate, she used her power to put a motion to not allow the sample to be released for commercial use if Lil Kim stayed on the song. Yep, Mrs. Wallace is gansta, and who can really blame her? But I digress! Check out the video below and be sure to check out Monica’s new album “New Life” slated to be released November 8, 2011. And for the latest Monica news, be sure to check out her official website, Monica.com.

It’s been officially announced via the official website for the Academy Awards aka the Oscars (Oscars.org), the film industries most prestigious award ceremony, that actor\comedian Eddie Murphy will host its 84th annual ceremony on February 26, 2012. Falling in line with a recent trend of theatrical musical numbers from its hosts over the last couple of years, I think Mr. Murphy will prove the perfect fit for the 2012 telecast given his wide range of musical, comedic and dramatic performances over the years.
As a former Oscar nominee, Mr. Murphy is also only the 6th African-American(Black) host of the program but the overall 12th time there has been an African-American(Black) host, following in the footsteps of Sammy Davis Jr. (who hosted twice), Diana Ross, Richard Pryor (who hosted 3 times), Whoopi Goldberg (who has hosted a whooping 4 times) and Chris Rock. One thing is for sure, the 2012 Oscars will be full of comedy, music, theatrics and over-the-top antics we have come to love from Eddie’s illustrious career! Hmm, I may just to have to host an Oscars party next February, because I know we will be entertained!

After much speculation and industry rumors it has finally been confirmed that two of my favorite celebrities Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete will not be returning to CBS’ “The Talk”. Seems to me the the two ladies were let go, fired, given the axe, whatever way you wanna call it, because clearly neither one wanted to leave a show that helped awaken popular celebrity status for the both of them. It really disgusts me because these two ladies, in my humble opinion, made the show! Leah was wacky and up to date on pop culture, showcasing her sassy comedy made famous on “The King of Queens” and Holly was able to give a very classy, motherly but still very hip vibe to the show that appealed to an audience that grew up with her from the “21 Jump Street” era to a younger generation who grew up watching her on TV shows like “Hanging with Mr. Cooper”.
While I do love Sara Gilbert, these two ladies were the only reason I really watched “The Talk” in the first place. Who needs to get the axe is Mrs. Sharon Osbourne who seemed a bit off her rocker at times, and of course head host, Julie Chen. But of course, you can throw your weight around when you’re married to the boss, sooo yeah! This show could be so much better if they would remove the pretentious air of Chen-Bot, who seems more robotic than Rosie the housekeeper from “The Jetsons” and don’t get me started on that forced “I’m real” act that she tries to play to fit in with the other ladies. It just seems at times that ”The Talk” is more scripted than these so-called reality shows of today, all under the careful eyes of the wife of the head of CBS. Personally, I feel like there was much shade thrown around. And this is not a bias opinion, I am not the only person who feels like Leah and Holly were the two most popular hosts on the show, and having the power to do so, I believe that Chen was behind their um, “exits”!
I will truly miss seeing Leah and Holly together on this show! Even more so now after they released official statements on their websites about their departures, and how it was not their decision to leave! And yet they spoke with no hatred, animosity or subliminal shade! Now that’s what you call some classy dames! I hope to see more of them in the future, even better, how about Leah & Holly talk and/or TV show? They had such a great Lucy and Ethel chemistry, would love to see that played on even more! CBS should be ashamed of their selves really! How do you go from class act celebrities like Leah and Holly to Sheryl Underwood and Kris Jenner? Really?! Sheryl is not really all that funny anymore, I know her so called comedy routine better than she does and she is definitely gonna have to have a filter with that raunchy mouth of hers. And Kris Jenner aka Mother Kardashian? I can’t! …end of article!

It’s taking all my restraint to hold back from going in right now, so I will just report the news! So Day 1 after being released from a year long prison sentence, *pause*, rapper T.I. is already back in federal custody. It seems he violated yet another federal guideline and did not report to the halfway house per the directions of his release in a low key manner.
Now any idiot knows, that when you report to any facility or place where offenders are transitioning, you would be respectful and as already described in your parole release information to do so, but rather T.I. took upon himself to challenge the authorities yet again and report in a luxury tour bus with a multi car entourage in tow. What does he not get?! I am so done with Mr. Clifford Harris, because I just feel he ought to have greater respect for himself, wife and children after this whole ordeal! As fan, I just don’t appreciate his poor example, especially because he has such an influential voice in the industry and to the youth culture! To you sir, you got the frown face! No bueno!
